Miho Ryu is a Choreographer and dancer from Tokyo, Japan. After her graduate from Waseda University with BA in Drama, she moved to NYC to start professional carrier as dancer and choreographer. Her choreographic vocabulary is mixture of all the physical movement style including contemporary, jazz, ballet, and martial arts. Her work always cut the edge of social aspect and show marvelous human ability to survive. Her repertories were showed in Seoul International Choreography Festival (Korea), ”a sul” X International Contemporary Dance Festival (Portugal), Danspace Project at St. Marks Church and DRA Festival (USA), Jogja International Performing Arts Festival (Indonesia). She is currently Artistic director of dance company “POLARSTAR” and “Dragon Queens” and dancing for La Dance Company Kaleidoscope. She received qualification of Qigon Master from Beijing Shinshu Qigon Society and Yurei Qigon Society.
